I record with my Universal Audio Apollo Interface, TC Electronic BH550 Bass Head and my pedal board, which can consist of:

• BOSS Line Selector
• Digitech Bass Synth Wah
• Paul Gilbert Airplane Flange
• Sansamp Bass Driver DI x2 (spilt low and high)
• EHX POG
• EHX BIG MUFF
• Bonafide Buffer

With the line selector, I can split the high and low frequencies, allowing me to maintain deep bass whilst adding effects on the treble. I can easily achieve a MUSE or Royal Blood sound with this setup! As well as a very nice clean powerful bass sound being achieved with most things turned off!

I can accomodate all genres/styles, and I also have a 70s Tokai bass if you’re looking for a more vintage sound.

Having been through many years of music education and learning how to play the electric bass, I feel like I’ve been taught somewhat backwards!
